About the DHS BPA

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has awarded Carahsoft a $2.7 Billion ceiling Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for Enterprise Software Licensing, establishing a strategic acquisition vehicle that will simplify how DHS procures and manages enterprise technology.

The BPA provides a standardized, enterprise-wide approach for acquiring software, cloud, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence (AI), data, and other emerging technologies. The vehicle provides a streamlined acquisition strategy that reduces administrative burden, accelerates procurement timelines, and enables DHS to rapidly deliver mission-critical capabilities across the Department.

By combining enterprise acquisition, strategic program management, and a broad ecosystem of leading technology providers, the BPA enables DHS to procure technology faster, reduce acquisition complexity, and accelerate the deployment of solutions that strengthen cybersecurity, enhance border security, improve emergency response, modernize immigration services, and advance the Department's broader homeland security mission.

How to Use the BPA

DHS Components can use the BPA to acquire available solutions, cloud, cybersecurity, AI, data, and emerging technology solutions through a streamlined, GSA-based ordering process. Carahsoft works with DHS program offices, contracting teams, and technology partners to help identify eligible solutions, align requirements, support quotes and ordering, and coordinate vendor onboarding when new capabilities are needed.
