Skillquest AI Prototyping Lab

Skillquest designs and delivers AI Prototyping Labs for military units and federal agencies. The program is built around a single outcome: subject matter experts leave with a working AI prototype they can utilize for efficient operations. 

The lab runs for two days. Day 1 covers conceptual AI understanding, basic prompting, and problem identification. Day 2 is a guided hackathon with expert consultation. Participants work inside enterprise AI tools already available for use in their environment. Skillquest builds the training around Vantage and ENVISION, so there is no new software to procure, no new approvals to chase, and no gap between what gets built in the lab and what can be used at the command.

Before anyone starts building, participants work through problem selection with Skillquest facilitators. That means mapping where the most friction lives in their workflows, identifying what data is actually available to work with, and applying their own expertise on their job and their processes to find the problem worth solving. Nobody understands a unit's operations better than the people inside it. The lab gives them the structure to turn that knowledge into something usable.

In one instance of running the lab, a participant built a solution projected to save over 61,000 work hours annually. The operational efficiencies that can be gained by obtaining the knowledge to properly use existing tools are boundless.

AI Consulting

Augmenting, or separate from, the lab where prototypes get built, Skillquest offers consulting support. The consulting services can cover various scopes of AI and Data related efficiency gains, including data preparation, AI roadmap development, and direct support operationalizing the prototypes built during the course.

Contracting and Eligibility

Skillquest is actively pursuing SBA HUBZone certification. Skillquest is eager to support unit engagements across all components of the Armed Forces, including the National Guard, and other federal agencies.
