LGND AI helps defense and intelligence organizations turn large volumes of satellite and aerial imagery into mission-relevant answers at speed. Modern GEOINT missions face a scaling problem. Collection keeps growing across commercial and government sources, but the number of analysts does not, and traditional computer vision requires a new custom model for each feature type and/or sensor. LGND closes that gap with new foundational AI models. It lets analysts search, monitor, and characterize the Earth's surface using text, reference images and outside context.
At the core of LGND's platform is a pipeline that converts multi-source imagery into searchable vector embeddings. It supports imagery of any spatial resolution across all commonly captured wavelengths, including radar. Analysts can start from a single example of a target, activity, or terrain feature and find visually and semantically similar locations across an entire area of interest in seconds.
LGND also supports persistent monitoring and change detection. The platform compares embeddings of the same location over time to surface meaningful change and filter out noise from season, illumination, and sensor differences. Automated segmentation and vision-language descriptions add context to each detection, so analysts can triage faster and spend their time on judgment rather than pixel-by-pixel review. Results export in standard GIS formats, including GeoJSON, Shapefile, and File Geodatabase, so they fit into existing exploitation tools and workflows.
A developer API and MCP lets integrators and program offices build LGND's capabilities into their own systems and workflows.
LGND also works with defense and intelligence customers to advance foundation-model GEOINT, and it pairs its technology with hands-on solutions engineering. The team helps agencies scope use cases, validate performance against their own mission data, and move from pilot to operational use. With LGND, defense organizations can expand analytic capacity, respond to emerging requirements faster, and maintain decision advantage in a data-saturated environment.
LGND helps analysts find what matters in satellite and aerial imagery quickly at a global scale. Tasks that once took weeks of manual review, like locating facilities, equipment, or activity patterns, can be done in minutes, so teams can answer more questions with the analysts they already have.
An analyst shows LGND one example of what they're looking for, and it returns similar locations across the full search area. There's no need to collect many labels or wait weeks for a model to train. Teams can respond to emerging requirements the same day, even for rare targets or unfamiliar regions.
Yes. LGND continuously compares imagery over time and flags meaningful change, such as new construction, equipment movement, or shifts in land use. Further, it generates text descriptions of these changes to help analysts or AI agents better triage.
LGND works with commercial and public imagery, including but not limited to Sentinel-2, Planet, Umbra and high-resolution aerial data.
Integrators can use the LGND API or MCP to build these capabilities into their own systems. LGND's solutions team helps agencies test performance against their own mission data and move from pilot to operational use.
