MongoDBA Performance with CipherTrust Transparent Encryption

This paper presents the results of the YAHOO Cloud Serving Benchmark (YCSB) used to measure the performance of a reference MongoDB configuration. MongoDB version 4.0.3 has WiredTiger as default engine. WiredTiger introduces compression as well as enhancing concurrency. In this paper we test the performance of CipherTrust Transparent Encryption against a baseline of XFS with the WiredTiger storage engine.
