eBodyGuard® provides innovative, vendor-agnostic personal and public safety technology that helps communities become both Smart AND Safe. Through the Smart, Safe Cities: My eBodyGuard Program™, eBodyGuard delivers proactive safety solutions and critical evidentiary infrastructure that serves as a bridge between communities, emergency responders, law enforcement, and the justice system. By connecting individuals, businesses, first responders, and public-sector leaders through a single ecosystem, eBodyGuard supports enhanced public safety and privacy from the first five minutes of an emergency all the way through potential investigations.
eBodyGuard is deeply committed to respecting the privacy and consent of all citizens. Individuals retain control over their information, and eBodyGuard is designed to protect personal data and evidence throughout its lifecycle, in alignment with FBI CJIS regulations and Fourth Amendment protections.
Designed for cities, counties, public safety agencies, and their communities, the My eBodyGuard Program™ is a three-part ecosystem consisting of the My eBodyGuard App™, My eBodyGuard Portal™, and My eBodyGuard First Responder Portal™. Together, these platforms provide the technology and infrastructure needed to connect the public with emergency response while preserving critical evidence and protecting citizens' Fourth Amendment right to privacy and consent.
When an individual uses the My eBodyGuard App™ to call 911 through the One-Tap Button or Voice Activation, they are connected directly to the nearest 911 call center, and their name, live location, and emergency contact information are shared instantly with emergency operators. Through their personal Safety Card, individuals also can choose to share additional information that may be relevant during an emergency. eBodyGuard puts the individual in control of what information is shared, with Safety Card information only provided to 911 with explicit consent from the individual. Giving individuals the power to share and control their information during an emergency ensures they are supported within the first five minutes of an incident, and provides first responders with enhanced situational awareness before they arrive on scene.
eBodyGuard® also provides critical evidence infrastructure for individuals and businesses. Citizens can use their eBodyCam in the My eBodyGuard App™ to capture audio and video evidence at any time. All information and evidence, including their eBodyCam recordings, emergency call logs, Safety Card information, and additional media they choose to upload, is automatically stored in their secure and private My eBodyGuard Portal™, where it remains confidential, preserved, and accessible only to the individual. Evidence is protected in the My eBodyGuard Portal™ through encryption and eBodyGuard's proprietary chain-of-custody architecture, supporting the privacy and integrity of information from initial capture through potential investigative and judicial proceedings.
For public safety agencies, the My eBodyGuard First Responder Portal™ provides first responders with critical real-time information during an active event. Within the first five minutes of an emergency, responders receive the caller's name, live location within inches, emergency contact information, and select Safety Card information that the citizen has chosen to share. Officers also have the ability to communicate with individuals via in-app notifications if additional on-scene information is needed. This creates a direct connection between the person experiencing an incident and the responding officers, ensuring that citizens are supported in the first five minutes of the incident.
The Smart, Safe Cities: My eBodyGuard Program™ helps public-sector leaders build communities that are not only smarter and more connected, but safer, trusting, and respectful of the privacy and rights of the people they serve.

The My eBodyGuard App™ is a bodyguard in your pocket, ready to keep you safe wherever you are™. Call for help quickly and discreetly through voice activation or one-tap push, record critical audio and video evidence of an incident, store and share personal information in your Safety Card, share your live location with 911 and your eBodyGuards during an emergency, and more. One word or the press of a button connects you directly to the nearest emergency call center—even without cell service. The My eBodyGuard App™ is easy to use and is integrated with the My eBodyGuard Portal™ and the My eBodyGuard First Responder Portal™, resulting in seamless emergency communication and automatic evidence storage in your secure, private cloud. With the My eBodyGuard App™, you are in control of when to capture those moments when you are at risk, what information is shared with responders, and how your story is preserved and told. You are no longer left to deal with “he said/she said” vulnerability and lack of accountability, and can truly feel safe wherever you are.
The My eBodyGuard Portal™ is your private, secure cloud where information captured by the My eBodyGuard App™ is automatically uploaded to. Here, you can view your emergency call history (including date and location of call), your Safety Card data, the eBodyGuard audio attached to the 911 call, and the audio/video evidence collected from My eBodyCam. On your My eBodyGuard Portal™ you can also upload additional digital evidence, such as Protection Orders, videos, photos, Ring™ videos, documents, narratives, etc.; basically any piece of digital information that provides your history and will support you in the event of an emergency–whether medical, safety or disaster.
The My eBodyGuard First Responder Portal™ is an integrated incident response platform that quickly and reliably shares critical information collected by the My eBodyGuard App™ with emergency operators, first responders, and law enforcement. Here, they can receive your call, as well as receive critical information such as your name, live location, emergency contact, and any information in your Safety Card that you wish to share. Sharing critical information within the first five minutes before officers arrive enhances the speed and quality of the emergency care you receive, as it improves the situational awareness of dispatchers and ensures you are appropriately supported in your most vulnerable moments. The My eBodyGuard First Responder Portal™ is connected to emergency services via ANI/ALI integration and is only accessible to law enforcement agencies that have signed a contract with eBodyGuard and undergone proper training.
When you initiate a 911 call, only your name, GPS location, and your emergency contact information are shared automatically with the 911 telecommunicator via the First Responder Portal™. The information in your My eBodyGuard Portal™, such as your Safety Card and evidence, is not automatically shared with the 911 telecommunicator.
Your Safety Card information will only be shared with 911 with your explicit consent. You have full control over what is shared, and can update your preferences anytime by accessing your Safety Card in the My eBodyGuard App™ or the My eBodyGuard Portal™. You can choose to share some, all, or none of your Safety Card; anything you choose not to share will appear blank to emergency operators. Nothing is shared without your consent.
Evidence uploaded to eBodyGuard is not automatically accessible to law enforcement. The My eBodyGuard Program™ ensures that the evidentiary chain of custody is preserved from the moment of capture to court - meaning that it remains tamper-proof, time-stamped, and confidential. If an investigation occurs, evidence captured by the My eBodyGuard App™ (such as eBodyCam recordings, Safety Card, or emergency call history) will only be released to relevant, authorized law enforcement personnel if a court-authorized discovery request has been obtained. To protect citizens' right to privacy, described in the Fourth Amendment, evidence will only be released to law enforcement unless it is deemed relevant and necessary by a judge AND the investigator has obtained a subpoena duces tecum.
