HEDIS and eCQM Quality Measurement
Saraswati is Amida’s quality measurement platform for state Medicaid programs, health plans, and providers. It calculates Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) and electronic Clinical Quality Measure (eCQM) performance from near-real-time data, so organizations see where they stand now instead of months after the measurement period ends.
Traditional quality reporting depends on retrospective data and manual validation cycles. By the time results arrive, the window to close care gaps has often passed. Saraswati closes that gap. It ingests data from existing systems in FHIR, HL7, CCD, X12, and other standard formats. It then applies Clinical Quality Language (CQL), the industry standard for measure logic, to update scores continuously.
Quality teams use Saraswati to identify care gaps early, prioritize the services that improve outcomes, and forecast measure performance with predictive analytics and machine learning. An interactive dashboard with filters and custom reports presents trends across populations.
