Populations at Risk Across the Lifespan: Population Studies

This study explores the feasibility of combining mobile technology with Community Health Worker (CHW) support to extend prenatal care for women in rural communities. Through personalized text messaging, digital resources and ongoing CHW engagement, the intervention showed promise for improving patient activation, medical care adherence and birth outcomes while demonstrating potential for positive healthcare cost savings.
