Bridgewater State University Raises Cybersecurity Awareness And Reduces Phishing Vulnerabilities With KnowBe4

Bridgewater State University partnered with KnowBe4 to strengthen cybersecurity awareness across its campus community after experiencing a surge in phishing attacks and spam emails targeting students, faculty, and staff. By implementing personalized security awareness training and simulated phishing campaigns, the university successfully reduced its Phish prone™ Percentage from 15% to 4% while fostering a stronger culture of cybersecurity awareness among more than 8,000 users. The initiative also introduced mandatory training for new employees and encouraged ongoing conversations around cyber threats, helping build long term security habits across the university.
