The University of New Hampshire partnered with AIRIA to better understand how campus spaces are used and make more informed decisions around facilities and energy management. By leveraging real-time occupancy data, the university identified opportunities to reduce HVAC usage, optimize existing space, and avoid costly new construction—saving an estimated $750K for a single building. The platform also helped uncover inefficiencies in energy use and supported a more proactive, data-driven approach to meeting sustainability and operational goals. As a result, UNH has been able to modernize its campus strategy, improve efficiency, and create a more responsive and cost-effective environment.
