Los Angeles County Earns NACo Award for Financial Management Innovation Modernizing Capital Planning and Budgeting with Decision Lens

Los Angeles County received a 2025 NACo Award in Financial Management for implementing a data-driven system to prioritize and fund capital projects. By partnering with Decision Lens to create a standardized Capital Projects Scorecard, the County now evaluates projects based on value, cost, risk, and equity, improving transparency and resource allocation.
