Cloud Security Report: CISO Priorities for Securing the Modern Cloud

Cloud environments are evolving faster than security teams can manage, leading to fragmented systems, outdated defenses and delayed threat detection. In 2025, a survey of more than 900 cybersecurity executives found that many organizations are overwhelmed by too many security tools, face an increase in cloud-based incidents and lack the ability to detect threats as they happen. While AI is becoming a top priority, many teams feel unprepared to counter machine-driven threats, highlighting a growing need for modernized cloud security strategies.
