Transforming Public Sector Disaster Response with New Space Technology

This eBook explores opportunities to radically enhance event response in the context of the increasing frequency and severity of natural catastrophes and extreme weather events. We use ICEYE’s experience delivering near real-time insights into catastrophic floods and wildfires as a case study. We describe how such insights can be put to operational use by government disaster relief and emergency response agencies and highlight three specific use cases.
