The COVID-19 outbreak and ensuing pandemic caused major changes to world economies and closed many offices and businesses globally. The closure of offices compelled management into either allowing employees to work remotely, if possible, or close their business. This unprecedented event moved a high volume of employees to remote work faster than ever before. As The Atlantic stated “ Even before the pandemic struck, remote work was accelerating in the U.S.”1 but due to the pandemic almost all employees began working remote immediately.
