New partnership empowers non-technical workers across the government to unearth data insights in seconds
SUNNYVALE, Ca. — June 12, 2019 — ThoughtSpot, a leader in search and AI-driven analytics, today announced a partnership with Carahsoft Technology Corp. to deliver search and AI-driven analytics to Carahsoft’s ecosystem of government customers and reseller partners. ThoughtSpot’s mission is to reshape the way U.S. government workers are able to answer data questions, find insights and make decisions.
Federal agencies have a vast wealth of data that touches every facet of our lives, from information on the economy and census demographics to housing affordability and crime statistics. Despite this trove of information, most government knowledge workers who would benefit most from accessing this data don’t have the technical skills to analyze data themselves, nor the required technical resources to effectively answer each data question. Through this new partnership, agencies across the public sector will be able to arm every employee, regardless of technical sophistication, with the ability to easily search their organization’s data and get answers back within seconds through search, artificial intelligence and voice.
“Turning data into insights is critical for Federal, State and Local Agencies who are all being asked to do more with less. Government agencies may now support the mandate to leverage data as a strategic asset with an AI driven search-based user interface that mimics what people are familiar with in their consumer lives,” says Monica McEwen, ThoughtSpot VP of Public Sector. “Agencies have a unique opportunity to enable everyone in the agency with access to insights to make smart decisions quickly. I’m thrilled ThoughtSpot is partnering with Carahsoft to empower individuals on the front-line to interact directly with data to deliver on the mission and serve the public.”
“In today’s highly digitized world, Federal agencies have more information at their fingertips than ever before, yet they still face the issue of turning all that information into insights” says Alec Wyhs, Manager of the ThoughtSpot team at Carahsoft. “ThoughtSpot integrates closely with many of our partners including Amazon, Google Cloud, and Alteryx, and by partnering with ThoughtSpot, Carahsoft and our reseller partners will be able to extend federal customers’ access to their data through connectivity with AI-driven analytics.”
The world’s most innovative enterprises use ThoughtSpot to empower every person in their organization, from C-suite executive to front-line employee, with the ability to quickly uncover data-driven insights. With ThoughtSpot, business people can type a simple Google-like search in natural language to instantly analyze billions of rows of data, and leverage artificial intelligence to get trusted, relevant insights pushed to them as answers to thousands of questions they might not have thought to ask.
