Delphix Solutions Now Available on Carahsoft GSA Schedule 

MENLO PARK, Calif. and RESTON, Va. — August 16, 2012— Delphix, the leader in agile data management, and Carahsoft Technology Corp., the trusted government IT solution provider, today announced a partnership through which the companies will make Delphix’s database virtualization solutions available to government agencies via Carahsoft’s GSA Schedule Contract (Schedule 70). The relationship with Carahsoft reinforces Delphix’s commitment to cut the time and cost of database and application management for government agencies and integrators.

Delphix solutions virtualize the data files within a database by creating a single, highly-compressed copy of the original data blocks and then serve that data to multiple database management system servers. Each server receives its own fully functional read/write database, but the new copy does not create new storage demands, thus reducing database storage requirements by up to 95 percent and increasing application development productivity by up to 500 percent.
