Cloudera and Carahsoft Return as Freedom Partners
for the 2026 Veterans Race of Remembrance

Established Technology Partners Renew Their Joint
Commitment to Veteran Recovery Through Motorsport

DANVILLE, Va. — October 19, 2026 — Operation Motorsport today announced that Cloudera and Carahsoft Technology Corp., The Trusted Government IT Solutions Provider®, will return together as Freedom Partners of the 2026 CrowdStrike Veterans Race of Remembrance, powered by AWS, taking place at VIRginia International Raceway (VIR) on November 6-8, 2026.

The renewed partnership continues a relationship with Operation Motorsport that predates the North American V-RoR. In 2023, Cloudera covered the entry fee for Operation Motorsport's U.S. team at the Race of Remembrance. Cloudera and Carahsoft later supported V-RoR as it was established at VIR, and are returning in 2026 to help strengthen the event and the Veteran recovery mission behind it.

“Cloudera and Carahsoft believed in this work before the Veterans Race of Remembrance came to North America,” said Tiffany Lodder, Co-Founder and Executive Director of Operation Motorsport. “Their combined support helped put our U.S. team on the grid in 2023, and both organizations continued with us as V-RoR took shape. Their return as Freedom Partners directly supports the 30 beneficiaries who will take on real responsibilities within our five race teams and across race operations. That is how we help Veterans rebuild confidence, reconnect with identity and rediscover purpose through the strength of a team.”

Cloudera and Carahsoft also bring an established Public Sector alliance to the partnership. Carahsoft supports Cloudera Government Solutions with dedicated sales, marketing and contract management teams and was named Cloudera's Public Sector Partner of the Year in 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2025. Their return to V-RoR reflects the same practical approach to partnership: trusted teams working together in support of a clear mission.

“Cloudera is proud to support Government customers carrying out critical missions every day,” said Leo Brunnick, Chief Product Officer at Cloudera. “Beyond that work, we’re equally proud to support organizations like Operation Motorsport that are making a meaningful impact in the lives of veterans and service members. It’s a powerful reminder that technology can serve a purpose far beyond the technology itself.”

The 2026 V-RoR is a three-day event with approximately 17 hours of track activity, including the Friday Test Day, the inaugural race weekend for supporting series Super GP Americas and the signature eight-hour multi-class endurance race on Sunday. The weekend also includes a Heroes Dinner and a trackside Remembrance Service. Thirty Operation Motorsport beneficiaries will serve as crew on five OpMo entries and support race operations alongside active-duty and Veteran-led teams, Veteran drivers and crew.

“Carahsoft's work is built on partnerships and teams that deliver when the mission matters,” said Craig P. Abod, Carahsoft President. “Returning alongside Cloudera allows us to support an event that puts those same principles to work for Veterans. We are proud to help Operation Motorsport create meaningful roles where Service Members can apply their experience and reconnect with a team.”

2026 Partnership Highlights

  • Cloudera and Carahsoft return together as Freedom Partners of the 2026 CrowdStrike Veterans Race of Remembrance powered by AWS.
  • Their support will help deliver the three-day race weekend and meaningful team roles for 30 Operation Motorsport beneficiaries across five OpMo entries and race operations.
  • The partnership builds on Cloudera's support of Operation Motorsport's 2023 Race of Remembrance entry and both organizations' earlier support of V-RoR.
  • Carahsoft was recognized by Cloudera as Public Sector Partner of the Year in 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2025, reflecting a long-standing working relationship that now continues in support of Veteran recovery.

Freedom Partners provide essential support to the event and the mission behind it. Cloudera and Carahsoft's renewed commitment will help Operation Motorsport deliver a professionally run race weekend where Veterans can take on meaningful team roles, apply transferable skills and reconnect with the sense of belonging and shared purpose familiar from military service.

About the Veterans Race of Remembrance
The CrowdStrike Veterans Race of Remembrance powered by AWS is the only endurance motorsport event of its kind in North America and is held annually during Veterans Day/Remembrance Day weekend at VIRginia International Raceway. In the spirit of the original Race of Remembrance, founded by Mission Motorsport in the United Kingdom in 2013, the USAC-sanctioned race weekend honors the service and sacrifice of military Veterans while providing a platform to support recovery through motorsport. The 2026 event features an eight-hour multi-class endurance race, which includes a Heroes Dinner and poignant trackside Remembrance Service. The event unites Veterans, racers, teams and supporters in tribute to those who have served.
