via Its Largest State and Local Contract Vehicles

New Contract Additions Make AWS Available to Thousands of Agencies and Organizations Across All 50 States

RESTON, Va. — March 27, 2019 — Carahsoft Technology Corp., The Trusted Government IT Solutions Provider^®, today announced that it has added Amazon Web Services (AWS) solutions to three more contracts to simplify purchasing by all U.S. state and local governments, and educational institutions. AWS solutions are now available through Carahsoft’s contracts with National Association of State Procurement Officials (NASPO) ValuePoint, National Intergovernmental Purchasing Alliance (National IPA), and National Cooperative Purchasing Alliance (NCPA).

These additions represent Carahsoft’s latest expansion in the AWS Public Sector Distribution Program, making AWS solutions available to thousands of state and local entities including school districts; higher education institutions; state, city, county and local government agencies; and qualifying nonprofit organizations.

• NASPO ValuePoint offers access to 28 different state contracts, allowing the majority of the United States to take advantage of a streamlined procurement process to purchase Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) solutions.
• National IPA is used by more than 50,000 registered government customers who leverage their collective buying power to improve pricing and reduce administrative costs.
• NCPA covers 90,000 customer agencies between the public and nonprofit sectors in all 50 states who leverage its dedicated purchasing e-portal to streamline procurement.
