Carahsoft Awarded U.S. Department of Homeland Security Blanket Purchase Agreement for Imation Encrypted USB Portable Storage Devices 

Four-Year BPA Contract Streamlines DHS’s Procurement of Security Compliant USB Devices 

OAKDALE, Minn. and RESTON, Va. -- November 8, 2012 –- Carahsoft Technology Corp., the trusted government IT solutions provider and Imation Corp., a global scalable storage and data security company, today announced that Carahsoft has received a U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for Imation encrypted Universal Serial Bus USB portable storage devices and ancillary central management software and/or web-hosted management consistent with the enterprise-level capability requirements. 

The four-year BPA, which is being managed by the Transportation Security Administration, is open for ordering by all DHS components, and is intended to maximize cost savings while achieving standardization and security compliance across the organization.
