Carahsoft Awarded U.S. Department of Defense ESI Blanket Purchase Agreement
for Qadium Software and Services

DoD ESI Agreement provides Navy SPAWAR Systems Center Pacific and other DoD agencies with streamlined access
to cutting-edge perimeter defense solutions

RESTON, Va. – June 22, 2018 – Carahsoft Technology Corp., The Trusted Government IT Solutions Provider™, today announced that the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) has awarded Carahsoft an enterprise-wide blanket purchasing agreement (BPA) on behalf of the U.S. Navy’s Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) through the U.S. military’s Enterprise Software Initiative (ESI). Under the agreement, Carahsoft and its reseller partners will distribute software and services from Qadium, the first global perimeter defense company, to SPAWAR Systems Center Pacific.

The five-year BPA is open for ordering by the DoD and related agencies on a world-wide basis and provides Qadium software, licenses and maintenance for DoD, Intelligence Communities and Coast Guard activities. The agreement is effective through May 16, 2023 and carries a master dollar limit of $37.6 million.

Carahsoft will support Qadium’s blanket purchase agreement award by leveraging its partner enablement, sales, marketing and contract management capabilities. In addition to other activities, the company will provide regular training webcasts covering contract terms, new software and updates, as well as a dedicated web resource for the contract and relevant information.

“Carahsoft and our reseller partners are pleased to expand the availability and reach of Qadium’s perimeter defense solutions to the Navy and DoD,” said Ebben Yazel, Technology Alliances Manager at Carahsoft. “As government agencies seek to streamline the procurement and acquisition process and eliminate costs, this blanket purchase agreement will offer a new, faster route to leading network security solutions by reducing the time and resources needed to search for sources, draft technical documents, draft solicitations and evaluate offers.”

The BPA makes Qadium, which defines and secures organizations’ public internet perimeters, available to SPAWAR Systems Center Pacific and all DoD agencies. Qadium’s software solutions include global digital asset discovery and monitoring of customer signatures, perimeter management workflows, reporting and API access capabilities, and more. Its product listings offer different subscription levels based on the number of IP addresses monitored from small to large networks. The BPA also includes a Mission Operations Analyst option for on-site consultations around an agency’s implementation of Qadium software. All listed products and services are available through the BPA at a discounted rate from Qadium’s GSA pricing.

DoD ESI is an official initiative sponsored by the DoD Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead in the establishment and management of enterprise Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) IT agreements, assets and policies. DoD ESI lowers the total cost of ownership across the DoD, Coast Guard and Intelligence Communities for commercial software, IT hardware and services.

Qadium solutions are immediately available for purchase under the blanket purchase agreement through Carahsoft’s GSA Schedule No. GS-35F-0119Y. For more information, contact the Qadium team at 855-377-5865 or qadium@carahsoft.com.
