What is Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) and why does it matter now?

Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) refers to cryptographic algorithms designed to resist attacks from future quantum computers. Governments, critical infrastructure operators and enterprises are beginning multi-year migration efforts because many currently deployed cryptographic algorithms are expected to become vulnerable to quantum attacks.
