Inc. magazine today on its 36th
annual Inc. 5000, the most prestigious
ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies. The 2017 Inc. 5000
rankings are based on percentage of revenue growth from 2013 to 2016.
With a three-year
growth rate of 99 percent, Carahsoft reported more than $3.4 billion in revenue
during 2016, making the company the
third
largest revenue producer
on the entire list of 5,000 companies. Carahsoft received the 10 Time Honoree
distinction, an accomplishment that less than 100 companies on the list have
earned.

Methodology
The 2017 Inc. 5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth when
comparing 2013 to 2016. To qualify, companies must have been founded and
generating revenue by March 31, 2013. They had to be U.S.-based, privately
held, for profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other
companies—as of December 31, 2016. (Since then, a number of companies on the
list have gone public or been acquired.) The minimum revenue required for 2013
is $100,000; the minimum for 2016 is $2 million. As always, Inc. reserves the
