RESTON, Va. – July 7, 2015 – Carahsoft Technology Corp., the trusted government IT solutions provider, announced today that it won an award for Excellence in Alliance Management from the Institute for Excellence in Sales (IES).
The award recognizes Carahsoft's VMware vCloud Air Network (vCAN) Program that brings Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) together with public sector agencies and VMware’s market-leading technology to better build government clouds. The program offers pay-as-you-go licensing, support, and tools through which CSPs can develop, promote, and sell VMware-based products, services, and solutions.

In the past year, the VMware team at Carahsoft doubled its partner alliances to 32 CSPs who are dedicated to providing VMware-based cloud solutions for government customers. The alliance continues to grow and now encompasses federal systems integrators, solution providers, data center hosting and cloud services, storage as a service provider, SaaS providers and numerous federal agencies.
