Carahsoft Named to 2021 Bloomberg Government 200 List of Top Government Contractors

Company Recognized for 10th Year in a Row

RESTON, Va. — July 1, 2021 — Carahsoft Technology Corp., The Trusted Government IT Solutions Provider^®, today announced that it has been ranked on the Bloomberg Government List of Top 200 Government Contractors. Carahsoft ranked #65, the company’s 10th consecutive appearance on the prestigious list.

“Fiscal 2020 marks the fifth straight year of increased government contract spending as total contracting dollars increased by $83 billion compared with the previous year,” wrote Kevin Brancato, Head of Product, Bloomberg Government. “Fiscal 2020 was forecasted to be a record year before Covid-19 was a factor but soared to an unprecedented $682 billion due to the pandemic. Following an emergency declaration, and with it the passage of $2.3 trillion in stimulus measures, contractors sprang into action to assist with Federal agency demands.”

The BGOV200 Federal Industry Leaders Study ranks the top 200 contractors by value of prime, unclassified contracts awarded by U.S. agencies in fiscal 2020. It analyzes the top contracts at 92 agencies and departments and in 20 purchasing categories.
