Since 2002, Eliquo has been an integral training partner with North American public sector organizations. Our training programs focus on digital designers’ requirements to build great content that speaks to public sector partners and all members of society. Public sector guidelines, laws and perspectives are explained and referenced throughout the delivery of our courses to help public sector designers connect their designs and content to their responsibilities to their stakeholders.
Design guidelines and content inclusions are integral aspects of our training courses however, Eliquo’s courses that are most commonly studied and discussed are those surrounding how to create content that is universally accessible to everyone in society including those with physical and cognitive disabilities.
Eliquo began teaching how to create accessible digital content in 2003. As of 2025, we have delivered over 2,200 live instructor-led courses focused on the WCAG guidelines and accessibility to over 9,000 public sector professionals. Our WCAG and accessibility courses help public sector content designers understand the WCAG guidelines and guide them as to how to create universally accessible content in the areas of web design, web applications & web forms, accessible PDF and PDF forms, accessible Microsoft Word, Excel & Power Point documents, audio and video, elearning, graphic design and how to test and validate their content. The skills gained from these courses have become critical in providing universal accessibility to all public sector information, social programs and support to everyone.
While creating new content that is accessible to everyone is of the utmost importance, Eliquo also supports public sector organizations by helping them convert their current materials into accessible versions. We support PDF remediation projects, WCAG content audits, the creation of accessible PDFs as well as accessible fillable PDF forms and accessibility conversions for video.
Outside of teaching or creating content for our public sector clients, Eliquo also serves as accessibility consultants to many of our clients. Consulting is often considered the initial services required in order to assist an organization in mapping out their pathway to converting and creating accessible digital content. Without a clear understanding of why content needs to be accessible and for whom, the probability of success is reduced significantly. Eliquo’s public sector clients often call upon us to deliver overviews of accessibility laws and guidelines in an effort to develop a deep understanding of why content needs to be accessible. Only after that understanding is embraced, a true sense of ownership and by-in within an organization towards a means to create accessible content can be achieved.
