Education Analytics (EA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping public sector agencies turn complex education data into timely, trustworthy, and actionable insight. EA partners with state education agencies, districts, regional consortia, and other public institutions to design and operate data systems that improve decision-making while protecting student privacy and long-term public ownership of data.
Public sector organizations face unique challenges: fragmented data systems, limited internal capacity, strict privacy requirements, and procurement environments that often favor proprietary, vendor-locked solutions. EA’s products and services are intentionally built to address these constraints. We focus on interoperable, standards-based infrastructure—primarily aligned to Ed-Fi and other open standards—so agencies can integrate data once and use it across many programs, tools, and reporting needs without repeated reinvestment.
EA’s software and services support the full public-sector data lifecycle. Foundational data integration and warehousing solutions help agencies bring together information from student information systems, assessments, attendance, programs, and other sources into a single, governed environment. On top of that infrastructure, EA delivers analytics, dashboards, and practitioner-facing tools that support accountability reporting, equity analysis, early warning indicators, and continuous improvement. These solutions are designed to serve multiple audiences—from classroom educators and school leaders to agency executives and policymakers—using a shared, trusted data foundation.
A core benefit for the public sector is EA’s commitment to data stewardship rather than data ownership. Agencies retain control of their data and governance decisions, and EA does not monetize access to student or educator data. Instead, EA operates as a technical and analytical partner, providing managed services, implementation support, and capacity-building so public institutions can sustain their systems over time, even if priorities or vendors change.
Because EA is a mission-driven nonprofit, our work emphasizes equity, transparency, and long-term sustainability. We help agencies analyze outcomes across student groups, identify disparities, and use evidence to guide policy and resource decisions. At the same time, we are realistic about public-sector constraints, designing solutions that are secure, auditable, and feasible within government operations.
Through its combination of interoperable technology, applied analytics, and deep public-sector experience, Education Analytics enables agencies to move beyond static reports toward living data systems that support better decisions for students, families, and communities.
