Infrastructure for Modern Missions

About

Picogrid is a defense technology company that builds products to unify mission-critical systems. Headquartered in El Segundo, California, Picogrid provides a unified command and control platform to integrate fragmented autonomous systems across land, sea, air, and space.

Together, Picogrid’s Products integrate sensors, platforms, and operators into a single cohesive network. Picogrid offers a multi-domain integration layer that standardizes and abstracts data across systems. Picogrid supports a wide variety of use cases, including integrated base defense, battlefield management, wildfire defense, and emergency response and rescue in remote areas.

How it works

Picogrid Legion, an industry-leading open systems integration platform, manages data feeds, tasking, and authentication between disparate sensors, UxVs, effectors, and other systems. These systems can then be linked into leading C2 platforms including ATAK, Maven Smart System, AiON, and others.

Picogrid’s family of Expeditionary C2 Nodes (ECN) Lander, Helios, and Portal extend this capability to the tactical edge, delivering AI-capable edge compute, assured networking, and multi-path comms to the warfighter. Designed to cover a wide range of use cases, Picogrid’s ECNs connect and extend the Legion network anywhere, from remote self-sustaining installations to lightweight mobile operations.

With a growing partner ecosystem of 50+ leading vendors and nearly 100 integrations, Picogrid enables the warfighter to rapidly field best-of-breed systems while avoiding vendor lock-in.

Capabilities

  • Modular Open Systems Approach: Well-documented, open APIs enable seamless integration of both commercial and government-furnished sensors, effects, and mission applications.
  • Open C2: Fully interoperable with leading mission software including ATAK, Maven Smart System (MSS), and others ensuring compatibility across diverse command-and-control environments and workflows.
  • Collaborative Autonomy: Coordinate and task large, heterogeneous fleets of unmanned systems—including Blue List and commercial platforms—while streaming real-time data from onboard payloads.
  • Multi-Domain Sensor Orchestration: Command and control dispersed sensor networks across domains, leveraging AI to process, fuse,  and act on live data.
  • Field-Proven: Operationally validated with deployments across 15+ DoD bases.
