Directive M-19-21 is driving Federal agencies to digitize their processes and recordkeeping and shut down their records storage facilities.  While this is an enormous task, the bigger question is: where will this digitized data go? Just like paper records, electronic records must be archived, secured, indexed, and managed per federal records management requirements.
