Monitor and locate radio frequency transmissions to support maritime domain awareness, border control, and many other requirements for surveillance of illicit human activity anywhere on the globe.

Kleos Space, Incorporated (KSI) has developed a space-based Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) capability that uses nano-satellite clusters operating in low earth orbit to geolocate radio frequency (RF) emissions. Initially focused on the maritime environment, this capability seeks to geolocate emissions from State or Non-State actors intent on hiding their positions from global positioning services such as the Automatic Identification System (AIS). As such, KSI’s capability can expose such activity as illegal fishing, littoral border incursions and other “dark” maritime activity linked to global terrorism, embargo busting, piracy and other forms of organized crime (human trafficking, drug running etc). KSI offers this unclassified data to licensed customers under a Data as a Service (DaaS) subscription model.
