CHICAGO, IL and RESTON, VA -- Nov. 14, 2013 -- Liquidware Labs is pleased to announce that its Stratusphere FIT and Stratusphere UX software solutions have been certified by a U.S. Department of Defense Agency with the Authority to Operate (ATO). The agency provides, operates, and assures command and control and information-sharing capabilities and a globally accessible enterprise information infrastructure across the full spectrum of military operations. The approval demonstrates that Liquidware Labs’ Stratusphere line of products meet the DOD’s most stringent security requirements.
“We congratulate Liquidware Labs on this achievement. The company’s solutions are the perfect complement to VMware’s Horizon Suite and designations, including the ATO, will play an important role in helping DOD organizations select the best software to support current and future virtual desktop needs,” said Will Jones, vice president of the VMware Solutions team at Carahsoft, which serves as Liquidware Labs’ master government aggregator.
The Liquidware Labs solutions certified under this ATO include:
Both Stratusphere FIT and Stratusphere UX utilize unique, patented Connector ID (CID) Key technology that differentiates these solutions from all other desktop assessment, diagnostics and monitoring offerings. With the CID Key software embedded in a thin client, on a physical or virtual desktop, each network connection includes an invisible fingerprint that allows real-time user and machine activity tracking at a virtual or physical network switch. This ATO further validates the company’s commitment to delivering solutions that meet the high platform and security standards needed to support government-class, end-user computing environments.
“The DOD is held to the highest security standards to support high-bandwidth classified and nonclassified traffic. Its agencies require pin-point measurement and accuracy in order to develop customized systems and devices to meet this high standard,” said Chris Akerberg, President and COO of Liquidware Labs. “Our Stratusphere solutions provide visibility into applications, end-point devices, networks and end-users’ behavior, which IT managers need to ensure that projects remain consistent with overall DOD mission and strategy. This Approval to Operate certification demonstrates our ability to measure up to one of the toughest standards for enterprise computing today.”
