Gaps in Attack Surface Monitoring and Security Testing for Cyber-risk Mitigation

From July 15 through July 29, 2020, CyCognito, in partnership with the Enterprise Strategy Group (ESG), completed a research survey of 200 cybersecurity and IT professionals who are directly involved with their organization’s cybersecurity strategies, controls, and operations. Respondents came from organizations with at least 4,000 employees in industries like technology, manufacturing, financial services, and healthcare, among others. Further description of the research methodology and survey demographics are presented in the appendix of this report.
