ACCRE designed its cluster for flexibility and future expansion while addressing new security requirements for Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). Upgrading from an IBM® TS3500, they implemented a Spectra® T950 Tape Library with 11 LTO-8 drives and an additional media frame. They also deployed a Spectra® BlackPearl® Hybrid Storage Platform, enabling direct end-user access to archival storage.
