Fortinet Security Fabric: Fortifying Networks and Maximizing E-Rate Budgets

Event Date: August 05, 2025
Hosted By: Fortinet & Carahsoft
This webinar discussed the E-Rate eligible solutions of the Fortinet Security Fabric. Through a demonstration of available category 1 and category 2 E-rate eligible solutions, attendees learned how Fortinet can help their education organization achieve advanced, scalable cybersecurity for their schools.

School IT departments face many challenges in keeping students, faculty and staff safe from cyber threats, like limited funding, while also maintaining an uninterrupted learning environment. Recognizing these challenges, the Federal Communications Commission offers their E-Rate program to offset a portion of the cost of eligible solutions, including tools in the Fortinet Security Fabric.

During this webinar, attendees learned about:
  • Internet security using FortiGate NGFW.
  • Secure wired and wireless networking through FortiSwitch & FortiAP.
  • Advanced analytics with the FortiAnalyzer.
  • 3G/4G/5G connectivity for school buses using FortiExtender.
  • Monitoring and management solutions using FortiGuard SOCaaS & Fortinet Manager Firewall services.
