Data governance involves the management of data assets, including how data is collected, stored, analyzed, and used.

Part of this governance strategy includes the development of policies, standards, and procedures to ensure data is managed properly and in compliance with mission requirements.

In this session, we explored key elements of a data governance program, including data quality, data security, and data privacy, and provide insights into best practices for developing and implementing a successful data governance strategy.

Attendees were given a better understanding of the value of data governance and the steps necessary to establish a strong data governance framework within their AOR.
