On May 19th, Red Hat hosted Hands-On AIOps: Building Self-Healing, Observability-Driven Automation with Ansible, a 90-minute executive briefing at SOF Week 2026,  focused on the future of intelligent IT operations.

During this session, attendees explored how organizations can leverage AI-powered automation to detect, analyze, and remediate issues across complex hybrid cloud environments in real time—without manual intervention. The workshop highlighted the three core pillars of AIOps: Observability, Inference, and Automation, and demonstrated how technologies like Red Hat Ansible, Event-Driven Ansible, Red Hat AI and Ansible Lightspeed work together to enable self-healing systems.

Participants gained hands-on experience with real-world use cases, including:

• Automatically detecting and resolving Linux service outages
• Automating Cisco network remediation for OSPF failures
• Responding to Windows security events using AI-enriched ITSM workflows
• Leveraging telemetry tools such as Filebeat, Splunk, and Winlogbeat for real-time event monitoring
