Carahsoft Makes Eighth Consecutive Appearance on Washington Business Journal’s

50 Fastest Growing Companies List

Company Honored for Strong Year-Over-Year Performance

Reston, Va.—November 1, 2014—Carahsoft Technology Corp., the trusted government IT solutions provider, announced today that it has been ranked for the eighth consecutive year among the 50 fastest growing companies in the Metro DC area by Washington Business Journal. Carahsoft ranked #42 on the list based on average percent revenue growth over three consecutive years.

“It is an honor to be included once again among the region’s fastest growing companies,” said Craig P. Abod, Carahsoft president. “Our impressive growth rate is due to the strong, strategic relationships we have developed with our technology vendors, ecosystem partners and resellers, and government customers.”

The rankings were announced at the Fastest Growing Companies 2014 awards gala on October 30, 2014, at the Hilton McLean, Tysons Corner. At the event, the publication gave special recognition to Carahsoft for its impressive eighth consecutive appearance on the list.

Participating companies needed to earn more than $2 million in revenue in 2011 and more than $10 million in revenue in 2013 to qualify. Winners will be profiled in a special section of the October 31, 2014 edition of the Washington Business Journal.

This is the third distinction Carahsoft has earned from the publication in 2014, being named for the fourth consecutive year as one of the largest government contractors and for the eighth consecutive year as one of the top private companies within the Metro DC area.

Carahsoft was founded in 2004 and serves as the largest government partner for many of the industry’s leading software manufacturers including VMware, Adobe, Symantec, Red Hat, HP, SAP, EMC and F5 Networks, among others. A top-ranked GSA contract holder and one of the top 100 government IT contractors in the nation, Carahsoft employs more than 450 people and is on track to generate more than $2 billion in revenue in 2014.
