In an effort to reshape Public Sector IT procurement and allow Federal agencies access to best-of-breed AI tools, Google has entered an agreement with the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) to offer Gemini for Government to all Federal agencies at a cost of $0.47 per agency.
This offering builds on Google’s previous Google Workspace agreement, allowing GSA to act as a central procurement hub and streamline contract licensing by treating the Government as a single customer rather than requiring agency-by-agency negotiations.
Gemini for Government includes Google’s best-of-breed commercial AI tools, such as Agentspace and NotebookLM, specifically designed for Federal agencies and built with integrated FedRAMP High security standards.
