Collaboration has never been more pertinent than in 2021, when organizations moved from in-office team collaboration to remote work. With this change, however, came challenges. While 3D workflows increase in complexity, tools vary from person-to-person across a remote network. Many of these tools can be incompatible with each other, resulting in inefficiency as workflows are adapted and reworked to fit each individual’s toolset.
NVIDIA, a company whose inventions and offerings have defined the landscape of computing and AI, aim to provide teams with the means of accessing high-end computing power and tools in an easy-to-deploy platform. Today, NVIDIA announced NVIDIA Omniverse™ Enterprise, an end-to-end platform optimized for complex design workflows and maximum real-time collaboration across existing infrastructure.
NVIDIA Omniverse™ Enterprise provides teams with a shared virtual space in which to collaborate simultaneously on project files, while offering assets and tools to aid consistency across a team’s on-hand technology. This new platform is optimized to run on NVIDIA-Certified Systems™, from desktops to RTX™ professional mobile workstations to servers on the NVIDIA EGX™ platform, bringing an end to the remote/hybrid divide. With NVIDIA Omniverse™ Enterprise, workflow waiting and disjointed teams are a thing of the past.
The real-time interoperability aids design team efficiency, as everyone on a team can work on a project with the same set of tools. Changes apply instantly within the platform, allowing for both teams and clients to enable feedback and review without the need to wait. The high compute power of NVIDIA Omniverse™ Enterprise allows for high-quality projects to be created from anywhere by any team, regardless of scale.
NVIDIA Omniverse™ Enterprise, along with other NVIDIA offerings, is available through their channel partner Carahsoft. With a three-year history of collaboration, Carahsoft has become a pivotal partner in the NVIDIA Partner Network (NPN), due to their role in supporting and encouraging NVIDIA’s success in the Federal ecosystem. Named NVIDIA’s 2020 Distribution Partner of the Year, Carahsoft has proven to generate demand for new AI and machine learning solutions through both sales and marketing efforts on behalf of NVIDIA. Their collaboration in support of the public sector extends to several contract vehicles, including GSA, NASA SEWP V, ITES-SW2, and several State, Local and Educational options.
