Ash Davis

Ash Davis is the Principal IT Automation Specialist working with Red Hat's State and Local Government customers in the West. They have spent 18 years in service of open source IT automation—first as an engineer and later as a transformation partner—across the Public and Private Sector. They have helped dozens of organizations achieve if not exceed goals for savings, risk mitigation and process improvement by leading holistic and sustainable transformation through IT automation. Since joining Red Hat's Public Sector team, Ash's focus has been on enabling agencies with decades of technical and process debt to make strides toward the efficiency being demanded both by regulation and the public. They recognize that much of the challenge with IT is not the technology, but rather the processes that surrounds it, and it is their passion to help guide inefficient organizations and frustrated people to a future that benefits everyone involved.
