Carahsoft is honored to be recognized for our outstanding performance by the industry, trade press and, most importantly, our partners.
Reston, VA— February 27, 2013 – Carahsoft Technology Corp., the trusted government IT solutions provider, announced today that it has received the 2013 Gold Stevie Award for the Government Sales Team of the Year at the annual Stevie Awards gala in Las Vegas.
The Stevie Awards for Sales and Customer Service is an annual, international competition meant to honor organizations that strive for excellence in aspects key to business success. This year’s competition attracted more than 1,100 entries from companies all over the world, and finalists were selected by a panel of specialized judges.
This is the second year in a row that Carahsoft has earned a Stevie Award. In 2012, Carahsoft received the Gold Stevie Award in the Sales Department of the Year: Computer Services.
“It is a great honor to earn the top award in our category,” said Craig P. Abod, president of Carahsoft. “Our laser focus on delivering value every day to our vendor partners, resellers, and our government customers is the key to our success.”
Carahsoft was founded in 2004 and posted more than $1.4 billion in revenue in 2012. The company serves as the largest government partner for many of the industry’s leading software manufacturers including VMware, Adobe, Symantec, Red Hat, HP, SAP, EMC, and F5 Networks among others. The company is also ranked among the top 100 Government IT contractors in the nation.
In congratulating the finalists, Michael Gallagher, president and founder of the Stevie Awards said: “Forty percent of the 1,167 entries submitted were recognized as Finalists — a higher percentage than usual, but the entries were of such high quality that the judges’ average scores warranted so many being recognized.”
