Recently, Deloitte surveyed 1,200 government officials from over 70 countries to gauge their views on digital transformation – how it’s impacting them and how they’re responding.

According to the resulting report, “Three-fourths of the respondents said that digital technologies are disrupting the public sector; nearly all (96 percent) characterized the impact on their domain as significant.”

For many, the switch to digital can’t happen soon enough. In our conversations, government IT and acquisition leaders have been bullish on what advances like robotic process automation (RPA) and artificial intelligence (AI) will mean for their ability to deliver value to taxpayers.

For acquisition, momentum is building with the rewards of leveling up contract intelligence, where early adopters are seeing returns pay off in areas they never expected.

That’s why Icertis’ best-in-class Contract Intelligence (ICI) platform is a critical resource for government IT acquisition leaders.

Contracts are the foundation of every relationship between agencies and their suppliers, and—like certain digital transformation initiatives across the public sector, such as Technology Business Management (TBM)—they are a source of untapped, long-awaited efficiencies. For years, digital contracting solutions have offered process improvements such as template management and workflow, but we are in the process of a new breakthrough.

ICI pushes beyond document management to extract key data across the contract portfolio, structure and connect that data to the systems it touches, and provide continuous, high-impact insights for real-time decision support.

With ICI, contract officers and acquisition professionals can shift their focus from tactical to strategic, delivering compliant, value-based procurement. The platform provides a single source of truth for all contracting needs by eliminating data redundancies, increasing cost savings, and delivering more value through a frictionless acquisition process.

ICI enables agencies to effectively manage the acquisition lifecycle end-to-end with these powerful functions:

Intelligent Contract Automation

Efficiently manage the complete acquisition lifecycle using AI to streamline contract set up, reduce cycle times, increase negotiation effectiveness, and manage contracts at scale.

AI-powered Clause Management

Contract clause automation with FAR/DFARS library and FAR Smart Matrix business rules for real-time acquisition guidance. Intelligent comparison of previously executed clauses to quickly identify acceptable redlines and nonstandard deviations.

Multi-Organization Support

Role-based access to support multi-organizational hierarchies of any complexity, e.g., agency > sub-agency > department > branch.

Comprehensive Governance & Compliance

Proactively identify, assess, and manage all contract risks and ensure the fulfillment of contractual obligations based on predictive insights from ICI’s powerful compliance tools.

Deep Integrations that Matter

Standard integration adapters with the SAM.gov, Acquisition.gov, ERP systems, electronic signature tools and identity management applications.

Powerful Reporting & Dashboards

Powerful advanced analytics and AI-enhanced contract intelligence tools to improve visibility, reduce Procurement Action Lead Times, minimize protest risk, improve acquisition outcomes, and more efficiently respond to data calls.
