Empowering governments to efficiently serve.
At BasicGov this is our purpose. It is on our walls and every
day we focus on how to make state and local government interactions with
citizens and businesses more efficient around regulatory and compliance based
processes. Our purpose creates results for agencies and individuals who seek to
improve the citizen experience. Using BasicGov's comprehensive cloud platform,
Governments can automate and streamline operations to cut costs, meet the
ever-growing demand for citizen services and evolve into a more open,
transparent and collaborative organization.
Our cause for efficiency is further enhanced by our choice to
use the Force.com platform from Salesforce.com. This cloud platform provides
world class security, performance and flexibility. Unlike other permitting and
licensing companies, when you are working with BasicGov you are working with a
worldwide multi-billion dollar ecosystem and platform that offers a diverse
global resource pool and does not limit your agency to a proprietary platform.
Users can create, capture and securely store all types of documents (i.e. certificates, licenses, regulations, tickets/citations/legal orders, operations guide, payments, invoices, etc.) streamlining the licensing and/or inspections process by easily collaborating among staff and between agencies to save time, paper, and storage cost. Government agencies and departments can increase productivity through the use of a single application by automatically routing documents for reviews and approvals.
Additionally, information sharing is improved by capturing and reviewing investigations, integrating with other systems (i.e. GIS), backend systems, and public website providing a 360 degree view of all information and interactions.
The BasicGov solution is hosted on the Salesforce Force.com cloud platform. The BasicGov commercial off the shelf (COTS) solution features all the elements needed to deliver government cloud applications with the Salesforce portal and Salesforce platform as the underlying infrastructure.
Salesforce is the enterprise cloud computing leader dedicated to helping companies and government agencies transform into connected organizations through social and mobile technologies. The company’s trusted cloud platform is creating a connected government experience for over 1,000 government agencies including all federal cabinet government agencies and the majority of US States. With the world’s leading cloud platform, Salesforce is freeing government data from legacy systems, empowering citizens and connecting agencies to administer government in powerful new ways.
For additional security requirements, the BasicGov solution can be made available on the Salesforce Government cloud. The Salesforce Government Cloud is a portion of Salesforce’s multitenant public cloud infrastructure, specifically partitioned for use by Federal, state, and local government agencies, including the U.S. Department of Defense, as well as the community of government contractors and Federally Funded Research and Development Centers (FFRDCs).
