NAVFACtory was established by NAVFAC in 2020. It is a Cloud Platform as a Service (PaaS) based containerized (VM-less) architecture. It operates in an IL-4 environment and uses Microsoft Azure. The personnel at NAVFACtory are all navy civilians. The NAVFACtory DevSecOps environment provides: source control, artifact repository, static analysis, build automation, test automation, dynamic analysis, containerization, and deployment automation.
