Tron was established in 2018 as part of the Air Force’s 15th Wing. TRON doesn’t specialize in any particular area, but had created a wide variety of tools from COVID-19 screening to water crisis response.

A 2022 RAND report claimed TRON had 24 personnel at the time. There was 1 officer, 3 enlisted, and about 20 contractors.

Safety training and tracking to replace the Form 55, with dual signatures, customizable trainings, and rapid signing of completed trainings.
WATER CONCERN
Rapidly deployed website to deal with November 2021 water crisis on Oahu for impacted service members and families, centralizing information and the DAF response.
PUCKBOARD
A mobile and collaborative scheduling software tool that is now fully owned and operated by Air Mobility Command.
