A National Strategy for American Leadership in Batteries

The Department of Energy National Strategy for American Leadership in Batteries establishes the DOE priorities and invesmtents to ensure domestic supply chains and manufacturing for batteries and related technologies are secure by 2030 and 2035 respectively. The strategy also establishes the Battery Manufacturing Accelerator (BattMan), a national consortium of DOE National Laboratories, industry partners, and academic institutions focused on addressing critical barriers in scaling new battery technologies.
