The organization competitively bids and awards contracts to national vendors in accordance with purchasing procedures mandated by state procurement laws and regulations. This means equal pricing for the smallest entities and the largest buyers.
National IPA was established under state law to help governmental entities operate efficiently and economically. Utilizing a National IPA contract means the buyer deals directly with the vendor, as normally, using the National IPA contract as their own.
