Department of Health and Human Services – Splunk BPA

On July 31st 2019, OCIO CPO awarded a 5-Year HHS Enterprise Splunk Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to Carahsoft Technology Corp. As Splunk utilization across HHS continues to grow and mature, the Department seeks to provide a predictable, stable, and cost effective acquisition structure. By leveraging economies of scale, the contract will ensure a continued high level of support, and more flexible enablement of the Splunk platform across HHS. The agreement provides a framework for HHS and its Operating Divisions to purchase Splunk products based on pre-negotiated discount levels. The period of performance of the contract is for a base period of 12 months (8/1/2019 – 7/31/2020) with 4 one-year option periods ending 7/31/2024.

What is included in this contract:

  • Premium Application Success Services – Specialized kick-start services designed to quickly get premium applications installed and configured in your environment.
  • User Training and Education – HHS has made an investment in Splunk web-based training for Splunk Fundamentals 1,2,3 & Advanced Searching and Reporting.
