David S. Linthicum is an internationally recognized industry expert and thought leader in the world of cloud computing, and the author and coauthor of 15 books on computing, including the best-selling Enterprise Application Integration, and his latest book Cloud Computing and SOA Convergence. Dave keynotes at many leading technology conferences on cloud computing, SOA, Web 2.0, and enterprise architecture, and has appeared on a number of TV and radio shows as a computing expert. He is a blogger for InfoWorld, Intelligent Enterprise, and eBizq.net, and Forbes covering cloud computing topics, as well as the guest host for This Week in Cloud Computing, as well as his own podcast, The Cloud Computing Podcast.
Dave's industry experience includes tenure as CTO and CEO of several successful software companies, and upper-level management positions in Fortune 100 companies. In addition, Dave was an associate professor of computer science for eight years, and continues to lecture at major technical colleges and universities including the University of Virginia, Arizona State University, and the University of Wisconsin.

Aileen Black, Vice President US Federal, VMware
Aileen Black is Vice President of VMware's Federal division and leads a team of 100+ professionals who help Federal agencies meet their unique requirements with the application of virtualization technology. Ms. Black has more than 25 years of experience serving as a trusted advisor to Federal Civilian, DoD and Systems Integrator organizations. Prior to VMware, she was the Federal Civilian Operations Director at EMC, and held senior management positions at Oracle, Ontos and Data General.
Aileen is a frequent speaker at various government industry forums, and is the featured speaker on WTOP's "Virtualization Expert" program. She holds an MBA in Finance and Marketing from Marymount University and a BS in Information Systems and Business Management from the University of Tampa. She and her husband Reed reside in Northern Virginia with their four children.
Doug Bourgeois, VP, Federal Chief Cloud Executive, VMware
Doug Bourgeois joined VMware as VP and Federal Chief Cloud Executive in April of 2010. In this role, he leads the development and execution of VMware's cloud computing strategies for the Federal market. He joined VMware from the U.S. Department of the Interior, where he served as the Director of the National Business Center (NBC) since October, 1, 2004. In this role, he led more than 1,800 employees and contractors in 24 states to provide business management services government-wide such as: information technology, payroll, human resources, financial management, contract management, and management consulting. Under his leadership, the NBC was competitively selected to be a shared services provider of payroll, human resources, financial management, and information technology services for the Federal government. He also led the NBC to develop and implement comprehensive cloud computing services, leveraging the NBC's shared services infrastructure, defense-in-depth security model, and extensive virtualization capabilities. Through his commitment to service excellence, the NBC earned notable achievements including an ISO 9001 certification and service level achievement rates of 97% across major service lines. Prior to joining Interior, Doug served as the Chief Information Officer at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), where he led the successful migration of the USPTO to electronic government operations. This included transforming the traditionally manual patent examination process to an online environment, providing published patent applications under review online to the public, digitizing granted patent documents and eliminating 25 million paper copies as a result, supporting the technology of an award winning telework program, and achieving an electronic filing rate that consistently exceeded 95%. From 1994 to 2001, he held several roles at FedEx, including the Managing Director of Global Customer Service Technology with responsibility for the successful 1-800-GoFedEx telephone network, all interactive telephone based applications used by FedEx customers to track packages and schedule pickups, as well as all systems used by FedEx Call Center employees world-wide to process several million transactions daily. Doug earned a B.S. degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Cal Poly University in San Luis Obispo, California and an M.B.A. degree in Finance from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Alex Hart, Director of Federal Channel Sales, VMware
Alex Hart, VMware's Director of Public Sector Channel Sales, brings more than 20 years of experience to VMware's Channel Sales organization. In this role, Alex is responsible for VMware's Federal channel strategies, programs and partner ecosystem. His team provides specialized sales and operational support to distribution, OEM, Solution Provider, System Integration, and Hoster/Service Provider partners who focus their sales efforts in the U.S. Federal segment.
Alex is a frequent speaker at industry events on the state of the indirect channel ecosystem and trends in Information Technology sales to government and education buyers. In addition to several other industry accolades, Alex was selected as GovernmentVAR/VARBusiness 2005 Government Channel Executive of the year. His background includes senior channel and sales leadership roles with industry leaders such as Symantec and Avnet, as well as a successful career in the financial services industry as an investment banking consultant for major NYSE member firms. Alex earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a concentration in Business Information Systems from Old Dominion University.

Brian Gammage, Chief Market Technologist, EUC, VMware
Brian works closely with our customers and our product teams to define the customer journey to a modern end-user computing model that leverages cloud computing to securely deliver access to applications and data from any device, where and when a user needs it. Brian came from Gartner, where he served as a Vice President and Senior Fellow advising commercial and government organizations on effective client computing strategies, technologies and architectures.
Riadh Dridi, Head of Partner Marketing & Alliances, VMware
Riadh Dridi is responsible for VMware's partner marketing strategy and execution across all routes to market. In this role, Riadh's team is chartered with understanding market dynamics for the purpose of enabling partners to effectively and efficiently create awareness and demand for VMware products and services. During his 17-year career, Riadh has held several leadership positions in sales, marketing, customer support, and product marketing. Prior to joining VMware in 2011, Riadh was Director of Industry Marketing and Alliances at Hewlett-Packard. Riadh holds a masters degree in Electronics and Computer Science from Ecole Supérieure de Chimie Physique Electronique de Lyon, France.
