The Adobe LWS site has so many different products listed for download. What do I actually need to get up and running for AEM Document Services or Live Cycle?
For simplicity's sake, anytime you see or hear Adobe Document Services, Adobe Forms and Documents, and Adobe Forms, they are all referring to the LiveCycle platform.

AEM Basic Installation -- There are ONLY TWO authorized modules

LiveCycle ES4 Service Pack 1
This release can be downloaded from the LiveCycle Help Page (it is not available from the Adobe LWS site). This page has tons of new capabilities and features/enhancements.
This is a HIGHLY RECOMMENDED install for any LiveCycle user, once they've installed LiveCycle ES4.
There are many different modules and components of the AEM Document Services product. So, determining how each user may want to install and leverage the capabilities will vary. Adobe LiveCycle Installation Documentation
Depending on the installation scenario, this page offers appropriate links that can be used for installation instructions.
Some installs are turnkey (out-of-box LC which is deployed on JBOSS for appserver and MySQL for database)
However, JELA enrollees may choose to deploy LiveCycle on RedHat JBoss, IBM WebSphere, or Oracle WebLogic appserver, and even decide to use IBM, Oracle or Microsoft for the backend database. You may also decide on a clustered environment or a single-server environment -- all the relevant instructions for any of the appserver/database configurations are available on the Recommended AEM Document Services Installs page.

Ordering Open To:
The Adobe JELA is open for ordering by the U.S Department, as defined in the Terms and Conditions of the contract. This Agreement is also open to Army, Air Force, DISA, OSD, JCS and supporting contractors authorized to order in accordance with FAR Part 51.
