Dan Henley

Mr. Henley is the Enterprise Data Solutions Practice Lead for Amentra, Inc., a Red Hat Company, focused on delivering enterprise data warehouse, business intelligence, and SOA solutions to Federal, State, and Local organizations. Mr. Henley has an extensive and diverse background working with both Government and Commercial organizations and has a proven track record in helping customers get value and intelligence from enterprise data assets.


Jason Smith

Mr. Smith is Vice President of Operations at Amentra, A Red Hat Company. He joined Amentra in August 2001 and leads Amentra's Government Professional Services practice focusing on the Federal, State and Local government and Education marketplaces. Jason brings more than a decade of consulting experience working with customers to deliver world class business and technology solutions in both the private and public sectors. Mr. Smith works closely with Amentra's government customers and partner ecosystem to design and implement enterprise middleware solutions leveraging SOA, BPM, Portal, Enterprise Data and Open Source Solutions. Mr. Smith has a B.S. in Management Science and Information Technology from Virginia Tech.


Jim Tyrrell

Jim Tyrrell is a Senior JBoss Solutions Architect with 12 years of Java experience spanning many diverse industries such as Government, Insurance, Banking, Retail and More. Jim has been at Red Hat over 2 years, and enjoys when not traveling for work hiking and snow boarding in the mountains of Colorado.


John Weathersby

John is the founder and executive director of the Open Source Software Institute (www.oss-institute.org). The Open Source Software Institute is a U.S.-based non-profit organization whose mission is to promote development and implementation of open source software solutions within U.S. federal, state and municipal government agencies.

He currently serves as an adviser on open source software issues to a number of federal government entities including the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force, the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), and the U.S. Department of the Navy, Office of the Chief Information Officer (DONCIO).

John serves as a technology and policy adviser to The University of Southern Mississippi's Office of Technology and Economic Development and is a member of the International Advisory Panel for Enterprise Open Source Magazine. He is also the founder of the National Center for Open Source Policy and Research, a non-profit research and development organization which focuses on open source software development and implementation within civilian government and public sector enterprise environments.


Kevin D. Sherry

Mr. Sherry is a Program Manager for Amentra, a Red Hat Company, focused on delivering enterprise BPM, CMS and SOA programs to Federal, State and Local organizations. Mr. Sherry has a diverse background working within both the Government and Commercial sectors and an extensive track record helping customers successfully migrate to enterprise open source solutions and architectures.


Phil Robinson

Mr. Robinson is Director of Strategic Channels at Alfresco Software, and brings strong Open Source executive leadership and sales experience to Alfresco. Before joining Alfresco, Mr. Robinson was President of Virtuas Open Source Solutions, a Denver-based consulting firm focused on Open Source technologies. Prior to his role at Virtuas, Mr. Robinson was the Program Manager for the Open Source Middleware initiative at Hewlett-Packard, working in HP¹s Consulting & Integration division.


Pierre Fricke

As Director of Product Line Management for Red Hat's JBoss SOA products, Pierre is responsible for driving the strategy and enterprise messaging for these Red Hat products. Starting with JBoss Portal and JBoss jBPM in 2005, Pierre led the product strategy and expansion into the integration and SOA market with the JBoss Enterprise SOA Platform which includes JBoss ESB, JBoss jBPM and JBoss Rules. Today, these products are the unit volume market leader or emerging strong challengers to long time incumbents. Pierre's focus is to expand Red Hat's market presence in integration, service-oriented architecture and business process automation, bringing the value of open source and community innovation to customers in these markets.


Mark Zalubas

Spanning almost 20 years, Zalubas has held technical, sales, and marketing positions with a wide variety of government-focused and commercial companies: General Electric Aerospace, Oracle, Enterworks, and most recently Convergys. Zalubas' ability to understand complex customer requirements and then to architect and communicate highly technical solutions to all audiences has enabled him to move seamlessly from purely technical positions to balanced technical/business positions. His experience in all elements of a company's operation ensures that both business and technical value is delivered to every customer.

Zalubas' technical areas of expertise include: software architecture and engineering, database development, user interfaces (graphical and verbal), middleware, information assurance through software, and contact centers.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Maryland and a Master of Science degree in Systems Engineering (Electrical Engineering minor) from Virginia Tech.


Andrew Gordon

Andrew Gordon is director, Enterprise Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Open Source, Federal Systems at Unisys Corporation.

In this role, Andrew is responsible for shaping the strategic enterprise SOA solution portfolio to help the federal government, military agencies and commercial clients understand the benefits and challenges of enterprise SOA. He leads the enterprise-wide SOA initiative at the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Federal Acquisition Service using Unisys Enterprise SOA methodology, which he developed based on his hands on experience delivering the essential elements that must be in place to achieve interoperability and reuse on an enterprise-wide scale. This methodology includes addressing SOA Governance, Service Portfolio Management, Service Descriptions, Service Interface Design, Implementation and Service Testing, Service Consumption, Service Deployment, Production Monitoring, and Service Ownership. Andrew also provides SOA guidance to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), National Weather Service (NWS) and the Department of Defense (DoD) in support of the Next Generation Air Transportation System.

Andrew has 19 years SOA experience launching and leading successful large-scale enterprise wide SOA initiatives for multi-national entities. Prior to Unisys, Andrew was Senior Product Manager at Mercator, a $130M enterprise application integration company, where he led the commercialization of their J2EE Business Process Management, Web Services and Business Activity Monitoring offerings. Earlier in his career, he built and led Compuware's enterprise-wide Shared Services organization, increasing the rate at which Compuware could respond to new and changing marketing requirements while simultaneously delivering a reduction in IT cost for its clients.

He is a frequent speaker at industry events delivering presentations on what it takes to achieve a fast ROI using SOA, achieving application agility with SOA, and the synergistic relationship between SOA and Open Source software. Published articles include "SOA: Keys to Sustaining the Transformation to a Service-Oriented Architecture" and "Open Architecture and Services Oriented Architecture (SOA): A Compelling Relationship."

Andrew holds a BS degree in Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
