Cyber security is the protection of information systems from theft or damage to the hardware, the software, and to the information on them, as well as from disruption or misdirection of the services they provide. The majority of current cyber security protection is provided in the form of human action. Analysts or smart systems identify a potential threat, and then a human must take action to remove or mitigate that threat through executing a script or building a protective mechanism through autonomics. Today, humans must still take action when a true threat is found.
